Become a Clarirad certified advisor

The Clarirad Advisors Program is for the consultants, accountants, billing specialists, and IT teams radiology practices already rely on. Learn the product, prove it in a practical assessment, and earn a badge your clients can see.

  • Free to apply, US$495 a year once approved
  • Three levels, from Associate to Specialist
  • Assessed on practical tasks in a demo practice

Introductions to practices are not open yet

Applications are open for the first group now. Introductions to practices open once Clarirad is taking clients, and we will tell advisors when that happens.

Who it is for

You already advise imaging practices, or you want to. You do not need a clinical background.

  • Practice consultants

You help radiology groups with operations, growth, and change. Certification shows you know what the system can do before you recommend it.

  • Accountants and bookkeepers

You look after a practice's books. Learn how invoices, payments, and claims move through Clarirad and into the finance reports you work from.

  • Billing and claims specialists

You keep claims moving. Learn how Clarirad handles batching, aging, and collections for the payers in your region.

  • Radiology IT and integrators

You look after the PACS, the modalities, and the messaging between them. Learn where Clarirad fits and how to plan a cutover.

  • Trainers and former practice staff

You have run a front desk, a department, or a whole practice. Use that experience to help other teams set up and train on Clarirad.

Three levels, taken in order

Each level builds on the last. We are opening them one at a time, starting with Level 1.

  1. Level 1

    Certified Associate

Know how a practice runs on Clarirad.

    • How a request moves from referral to booking, imaging, report, and invoice
    • Staff roles and permissions, and the patient and referrer portals
    • What to check before you recommend Clarirad to a practice
  2. Level 2

    Certified Professional

Set a practice up and keep it running.

    • Sites, rooms, services, and user access
    • Billing setup, payment reconciliation, and finance reports
    • Planning a move from an existing RIS, including staff training
  3. Level 3

    Certified Specialist

Go deep on one area and hold that specialism.

    • Billing and claims for the payers in your region
    • Integrations: PACS, HL7, and FHIR
    • Migrations: moving data and planning the cutover

How certification works

You show you can do the work. Nobody takes a theory exam.

  1. 1

    Apply

Tell us what you do and where you work. We reply within two business days.

  2. 2

    Learn

Once approved, pay the yearly fee through Stripe, join a live session with our team, then work through the demo practice.

  3. 3

    Pass the assessment

Complete a checklist of practical tasks in a demo practice with made-up patients. One of our team marks it and tells you what to fix.

  4. 4

    Get your badge

Receive a digital badge and certificate for your level, ready to share with clients.

Certification lasts 12 months

The product changes, so certification has to keep up. The fee renews automatically through Stripe each year until you cancel. Each year, pass the assessment for your highest level and the levels below renew with it. If it lapses, you come off the directory and repeat the training and the assessment.

What you get

A short list, and we will actually do everything on it.

One yearly fee

US$495 a year per person covers the live sessions, the demo practice, and your marked assessments. There are no separate course or assessment charges, and applying is free.

Badge and certificate

Show your level on your website, proposals, and professional profiles.

Advisor directory listing

While your certification is current, you are listed in our public directory so practices can find you.

A demo practice

A working practice environment with made-up patients, so you can learn without touching real records.

A named contact

Someone on our side to email when a client's question goes beyond the training.

A referral fee, in writing

When a practice you introduce becomes a customer, a one-off fee applies, based on its first year's subscription. The number sits in your agreement, not in a keynote.

If you run a practice

A certified advisor has shown they can do the work in Clarirad. They are not our staff: you choose them, engage them, and pay them directly. Some also earn money from Clarirad, through a referral fee or by reselling it, and they must tell you in writing.

  • You control access

Give an advisor their own named user with only the permissions they need. No shared logins, and what they change is recorded in the audit trail.

  • Product support stays with us

An advisor helps you run your practice. Keeping Clarirad working is still our job.

  • Ask what they hold

Ask which level and specialism an advisor holds, and when it renews.

Questions

The ones people usually ask first.
